Spring 2009 Make-up Hits the Runways
The look for spring 2009 is kicking the previous season’s glamorous look out completely and focusing on romantic pastel, sultry grey eyes and flawless foundation.
From looking at the 2009 runways it’s clear that red lips and heavy eyebrows are fading away to be replaced by large false eyelashes, soft grey sultry eyes and clear flawless complexions.
There are no more heavy eyebrows or thick eyeliner for 2009. Eye make-up for 2009 is softer and more about definition with a touch of fantasy. Amongst those releasing the soft pastel colour collections in preparation for 2009 is Christian Dior. Violet eyeliner is also a primary colour used on spring 2009 runways, a very adaptable colour because it compliments all types of skin tones.
False eyelashes provide a more ‘doe-eyed’ look to your face. Virtually all runway shows during the spring 2009 fashion shows in New York saw models adorned with false eyelashes which were used to boost the 2009 look of fantasy.
Your eyebrows should now be more natural and have a softer look. Experts at Glamour Magazine say the best way to deal with eyebrows is to trim the unruly hairs only and to sweep the rest of your brow naturally upwards towards the temple.
