Shimmering eyes and dark nails are in this season
Whilst the winter fashion season has given us rusted colours for shading eyes, the coming spring and summer fashions are now appearing and A-list stars everywhere are now showing us how to work this new look.
A subtle and sheer shimmer is applied to the eyelids and onto the lower lash line. Muted hues of gold, bronze or silver are the best colours to go for and blend. Ash blondes with paler complexions such as Kirsten Dunst will suit mushroom and silvers, whilst anyone with darker or tanned skin will suit a bronze or gold shade. Most shades are acceptable as long as they look subtle.
For spring, nail colours are changing again from the winter version of chic neutrals to dark, black nails. Those fashion savvy celebrities leading the way on dark nail fashions for spring/summer wardrobes include Natalie Portman who has been seen wearing black nail varnish to toughen up her romantic lace dress look, and Alexa Chung who has been spotted wearing dark burgundy polish with star prints on her nails.
