Fragrance Products
There are some critics who actually argue people who are sensitive to any fragrances are probably experiencing an attack caused by the memory of a bad experience upon the realisation that they have just been exposed to a perfume or fragrance. Although, there are many sensitive people who find that different fragrance smells will cause different types of symptoms, and some fragrances may cause them no ill effects at all. This suggests that the anxiety attack theory could probably be discounted.
It is also shown that odour doesn’t necessarily cause any symptoms. Even very pleasant and not very strong product smells including products whose concentration is too low to even be smelled, can still cause symptoms, whilst on the other hand, some very noxious smelling products may not even elicit any reaction.
Children are more susceptible to the effects of fragrance chemicals than are adults, although fragrances are still added to nearly every baby product you can buy on the market. An unsuspecting parent who wears a perfume fragrance and uses scented products regularly could well be poisoning the air their children are breathing.
