I think we can all agree that February has been a great month! This short month has been a little mood boost for everyone; we celebrated the love with Valentines day, witnessed some of the best dressed at the Brits, Oscars and Bafta’s and to round it off we had a mini heat wave! Not only that but here at FD we have celebrated some of the best new launches in the Fragrance World so far this year. So, today we have having a round up from start to finish, so you don’t miss out!

The first launch of February was Dolce& Gabbana The Only One 2 Eau de Parfum, the second chapter of the story. This fruity and sweet fragrance has top notes of red berries, heart notes of Violet Accord and base notes of Tonka Bean. This scent is a smooth and addictive addition in a gorgeous sophisticated bottle symbolising love, seduction and lust.

Issey Miyake then launched Eau D’issey Pure Petale De Nectar in a stylish and sleek bottle with a soft explosion of springtime scents. This EDT has top notes of Honey Pear, heart notes of Rose Petals and base notes of creamy sandalwood. This is a unique signature of the trilogy with is the perfect scent for the season.

The third launch this February was the colourful and joyful fruity scent of Elie Saab Girl of Now Forever. It’s delicious top notes of Raspberry, heart notes of Rosa Cassia and base notes of Cashmeran make this is the fun, feminine couture scent for spring.

Joop! Homme Absolute was the first for men this February. With top notes of black pepper, heart notes of Ylang Ylang and base notes of Cedarwood this fragrant illustration of men’s dual nature is a contrast of unexpected floral notes and masculine accords. This time the bottle is black with a yellow logo giving it an extremely sleek and striking appearance.

The next launch this February was Lacoste’s Pour Femme Elixir. This new fragrance design is tailor- made for hedonistic women who dare to live their life to the fullest. With top notes of pink pepper, heart notes of Sambac Jasmine and base notes of Tuberose this is a sensual woody, bold blend which is instantly identifiable from the Lacoste range.

The Jimmy Choo Blossom was a great launch this month, its feminine design and sweet accord of exotic fruits makes it the perfect spring summer scent for 2019! The scent mellows to a sensual base of sandalwood, offering up a simultaneous evocation of sophistication and warmth.

The sixth launch this month was Kenzo’s Flower Eau de Vie which celebrates love at first sight. Zesty ginger as top notes with orange blossom heart notes and base notes of Tonka beans and white musk makes this a delightful addition to the Kenzo collection.

Calvin Klein introduced a spirited reinterpretation of Women with the Eau de toilette. This fragrance celebrates women with a sensual and empowering blend of white peony, ambrox and lemon. Its unique bottle design is all about self-expression and certainly makes this launch stand out from the crowd.

The next launch was the exciting Carolina Herrera Good Girl Legere Eau de Parfum. The black- lacquered bottle gradates from clear to transparent base to a midnight- blue crown representing the transition from day to night, from good to bad. This is a lighter and more floral version to the original and uses notes of Jasmine, tuberose and Tonka bean for its composition.

The final launch for February was the Lancome La Vie Est Belle En Rose, offering a new take on iconic collection. Known as the crystal smile this is a fresher reinterpretation of the floral, feminine scent with top notes of red fruits, heart notes of rose essence and base notes of sandalwood oil. This time the iconic bottle has a pink filter to see life through rose-coloured glasses and its famous wings are in pink to represent the theme of optimism.
