Marc Jacobs launched his first fashion collection in 1986, and went on to work for a number of high profile designers, including being made Creative Director at Louis Vuitton. In 2001 he launched a more affordable fashion label, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and it is under this label that he released his first fragrance, Marc Jacobs Essence. This was soon followed by the second perfume, and this month’s prize, Daisy.

Described as “luscious natural freshness”, the scent opens with wild strawberry, violet leaves and red ruby grapefruit. Violet, jasmine and gardenia are at its heart, while the bottom notes are vanilla infusion, musks and white woods.

A 50ml bottle of Marc Jacob’s Daisy is available for £40.50 at Fragrance Direct, but we’re giving a bottle away for absolutely nothing in our April prize draw.
