Britney Spears smells the sweet scent of success with her fragrance line
Pop princess Britney Spears is undoubtedly one of the front runners in the celebrity fragrance market. Her line of fragrances are popular all over the world, and it’s not just her fans who are buying them.
The fragrances, produced by top brand Elizabeth Arden, have now been best-sellers for a number of years- and it’s not hard to see why.
Britney’s first fragrance- Curious- which was released in 2004, broke Elizabeth Arden’s record for first week sales for a perfume, and became the best selling fragrance of the year.
Her next fragrance, Fantasy, which was released in 2005 brought her similar success and was followed by a succession of other scents- Curious In Control, Midnight Fantasy, Believe and Curious Heart.
Britney has released 2 fragrances this year- Hidden Fantasy and Circus Fantasy.
Circus Fantasy was named after her 2009 album and international tour.
So far, Britney’s fragrances have seen worldwide sales of an astounding 1 billion- and we’re pretty sure that her fragrance line isn’t going to stop here.
Who would have thought that a small town girl from Louisiana would go on to become a global mega-star and the most successful celebrity fragrance endorser of all time.
