Agent Provocateur Signs Lucrative New Fragrance Deal
Agent Provocateur recently announced that they have signed a 10 year fragrance deal with Designer Parfums. Although many people associate the Agent Provocateur brand with daring lingerie, they already have a successful range of fragrances. Their most popular fragrances have included Maitresse, Eau Emotionelle and their self named signature scent.
Although co-founder Joe Corré left the board of the company earlier in the month, Agent Provocateur seem to be going from strength to strength.
The fragrance deal couldn’t have come at a better time, with the demand for burlesque fashion and beauty products on the High Street at an all time.
CEO of Agent Provocateur, Garry Hogarth has stated that he is “excited about the new relationship and delighted to have signed the deal which sees Designer Parfums take over the manufacturing, distribution and marketing of Agent Provocateur Parfums with immediate effect”.
Designer Parfums’ Managing Director, Dilesh Mehta agrees, “This licence deal enhances our long term strategy to offer a global marketing, manufacturing and distribution service. We are delighted to have entered into this partnership with Agent Provocateur and we are anticipating real growth opportunities for this unique brand.”
The new fragrances are due to be launched from 2010.
