With the festive season seemingly a distant memory, we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of our favourite fragrance launches from the past year! These 5 perfumes were amazing new scents for 2015 but we think they will stand the test of time and stay as some of our bestselling ranges!
First up on our favourites list the new Bamboo perfume, strong yet graceful, based on one of Gucci’s most recognizable design signatures, it has been designed to reflect today’s multi-faceted woman.
The modern Gucci woman shares bamboo’s characteristics of strength and confidence with her innate femininity and poise. She is feminine and sensual yet strong and commanding. Emanating her femininity, her confidence and her natural strength, the fragrance represents the essence of her character.
Mirroring the Gucci Woman`s confident persona, the fragrance is soft and intense at once. The duality is expressed with strong notes that resonate through the heart and base. Deep Sandalwood, heady Tahitian Vanilla and unique grey Amber accords strike a complementary contrast with the inherent femininity found in exotic floral notes of sensual Casablanca Lily, feminine Orange Blossom and delicate Ylang Ylang.
BOSS The Scent
Next on our trip back in time; BOSS The Scent, a powerful new men’s fragrance from 2015. Reawaken the senses with the seductive power of BOSS THE SCENT, the new fragrance for men from HUGO BOSS: Irresistible and unforgettable like a savoured seduction.
BOSS THE SCENT has been created for the BOSS Man who plays seduction slowly, passionately and as an experience to be savoured and returned to time after time. With BOSS THE SCENT, he can engage all five senses, tapping into what women really want.
Exquisite notes of Ginger, exotic and exclusive Maninka and virile Leather unfold over time. The effect is a bespoke scent, crafted to provoke the senses with an air of depth and enigma: powerful, rich, full-bodied. A must have scent for any BOSS fragrance fan.
Fragrance Direct also welcomed Valentino Donna to the Valentino collection in this past year. With a hint of elegance, fragility, irreverence, and candor Donna is the new counter-part to the male Uomo fragrance from Valentino. Sensuous and independent she is capable of sudden passion and unexpected shyness. Luminous and sensual, the fragrance revolves around a contrast of noble, subtle ingredients. Rose essence, generously blended with notes of bergamot and iris Pallida, illuminates the fragrance with refined radiance and an impalpable texture. Warm, intense notes of leather blended with patchouli and vanilla express an exquisite, inescapable carnality. The search for contemporary classicism and a sense of past and present that characterizes the concept of timeless elegance are embodied in the bottle ‘ a beautiful addition to any dressing table.
Jimmy Choo Illicit
Another opulent women’s scent; ILLICIT, the newest Jimmy Choo fragrance to be added to the portfolio in 2015. This modern floral scent awakens the senses, calling out to every woman who dares to live life to the full. This is an entirely unique fragrance experience; punchy, provocative and feminine with its blend of addictive notes including Ginger, Rose, Jasmine, and Sandalwood. Created for the woman who likes to take centre stage and set pulses racing, this alluring aroma teases, tantalises and delights all the senses.
Marc Jacobs Decadence
Finally, the last on our favourite edit from 2015 is Marc Jacobs Decadence Eau de Parfum, an entirely new concept from Marc Jacobs, this scent really got everyone talking! The sensual woody fragrance symbolises the ultimate in feminine glamour and sophistication.
Decadence elevates the irreverent spirit of Marc Jacobs fragrances to a new level of luxury with bold styling, opulent craftsmanship and a revolutionary bottle design inspired by one of Marc’s iconic handbags.
The fragrance instantly captivates with succulent Italian Plum, rich Bulgarian Rose and sensual Liquid Amber, to give you a signature of pure indulgence.
